Our Story

A Place to Unplug, Reconnect, and Stay a While

Kibbe's Island Park Campground sits on the quiet shores of Tionesta Lake in the heart of northwestern Pennsylvania. For decades, families have come here to trade screen time for starlight, traffic noise for loon calls, and busy schedules for the simple rhythm of lake life.

Our campground offers a mix of shaded tent sites, full-hookup RV pads, and modest cabins — each with its own view of the water or the surrounding forest. We're not a resort with a long list of amenities; we're a place that does the essentials well, with a friendly face at the office and a fire ring waiting for you at dusk.

Whether you're here to fish, kayak, hike the Allegheny trails, or simply sit on the dock and watch the sunset, you'll find that Kibbe's is the kind of spot that feels like it was made just for you.
